How High Are Your Chances of Natural Pregnancy? Understand the Facts

Chances of natural pregnancy PER MONTH depend on the lady’s age and the duration the couple is trying for Pregnancy. 

1) Upto 32 years, there is approximately a 7-8% chance of natural pregnancy per month of try in the first year of trying.

From second year onwards, chances come down to 2-3% per month. The reason for this is the following: for couples who don’t have pregnancy after one year of trying, there are high chances of having a problem in the uterus, ovary, tubes, or sperm.

It is better to consult a doctor if no Pregnancy happens in the first year so that necessary tests and treatment can be done. 

2) At 35 years, there is approximately a 4-5 % chance of natural pregnancy per month of try in the first year of trying. From second year onwards, chances come down to 2-3% per month. 

3) At 40 years, there is approximately a 2-3 % chance of natural pregnancy per month of try in the first year of trying. From second year onwards, chances come down to 1-2 % per month. 

Many other factors affect these chances. These are the average numbers.
